About this Program

Bricks & Books is a LEGO based training program developed by team Sunday Bricks for educators, story tellers & parents that empowers them to transform learning spaces into vibrant, playful hubs where literature meets hands-on creation. By pairing the magic of children’s storybooks with the tactile excitement of brick building, this course provides a concrete pedagogical framework to cultivate an early, lifelong love for reading.
Instead of treating reading as a passive chore, the program teaches you how to make stories tangible. Students listen to a narrative and immediately use physical building blocks to reconstruct scenes, design alternate endings, or build character worlds—turning abstract language concepts into a three-dimensional reality.
This program is ideal for children from age 4 to 10 years.

The 2-Step Pedagogy

Step 1: Deep Story Engagement – We start with the belief that storybooks are a child’s best friend. Educators learn how to select and deliver compelling narratives that spark curiosity and foundational literacy. Next they learn how to create the right prompt questions.
Step 2: Interactive Brick Building – Storytime is immediately followed by dynamic building sessions. Students use physical blocks to reconstruct scenes, design alternate endings, or build character worlds, turning abstract concepts into a tangible reality. This is indeed the favourite part of the Bricks & Books – LEGO based training program.
