At the Indore Management Association, team Sunday Bricks had the privilege of facilitating a dynamic LEGO team building activity and Serious Play® (LSP) workshop with eight emerging leaders.

The goal of the session was to uncover innovative and collaborative strategies for leading and engaging the next generation in today’s evolving workplace. Using LEGO bricks, participants built models that represented real challenges and aspirations around leadership. These models then served as springboards for meaningful conversations. 💡
Unlike traditional meetings where only a few voices are heard, this workshop embraced a “lean forward” approach. Everyone participated actively. Every brick placed had a purpose. Every story told added a new perspective to the discussion.

Moreover, the LEGO team building activity process played a key role in strengthening interpersonal connections. As participants built together, they also learned to listen deeply, communicate clearly, and think creatively. These are critical skills for emerging leaders navigating a fast-changing environment.
In addition, the LSP method helped make complex ideas more accessible. Abstract concepts became tangible through physical models. As a result, participants were able to align more quickly on shared values, goals, and leadership approaches.
The session wasn’t just about learning a new technique. It was about shifting the mindset—from passive observation to active co-creation. It showed that when teams build together, they think together, and ultimately, lead better together.
Workshops like these reaffirm the impact of LEGO Serious Play® in leadership development. They foster creativity, trust, and strategic thinking—skills that are increasingly essential in the modern workplace.

Sunday Bricks continues to bring this methodology to organizations across sectors, helping teams connect, collaborate, and grow—one brick at a time. What are you planning to do for your next team building session?
