My LEGO® City Master Class is a 3 Day online workshop held on ZOOM with our founder, Mr. Mrunal Shah.

The theme for this master class is My LEGO® City. At Sunday Bricks we truly believe in unstructured play so participating children will have the freedom to explore options around this theme – Future City or Smart City or City on Mars – every interesting idea that they come up with is most welcome.

Day 1 – Smart & Green Play areas

• On Day 1, let’s think about the Play Areas in your LEGO® City. Your city needs cool play arenas with multiple equipment to enjoy play time. Can we all together design play areas for different age groups and needs? Our play areas are best when we have a variety of flora and fauna too.

Day 2 – Smart Housing

• On Day 2, let’s shift our focus to housing. Let’s ideate, plan & build homes which are energy efficient. How can we have enough natural light in our homes but at the same time keep our homes cool? Can we think of ways by which we can use Solar Energy? Our smart housing can also have open balconies with beautiful patio and sundecks too. Let’s design your smart home on Day 2.

Day 3 – Smart City Planning

• On Day 3, we need to start thinking about how our city should look like. Does your city have enough space for bicycles and wheel-chairs to move. As a smart builder you definitely want more options for public transportation, so together let’s think about those options too. Signal systems, well planned roads with multiple public transportation facilities will help us build a smart city.

• Virtual My LEGO® City Display (Everyone’s creations will be displayed online) – 14th November 2021

• 5 years to 12 years – Basically children who have been playing with LEGO® Classic or small bricks. Please note that this is not a beginner level workshop.

We recommend LEGO® Classic Set 10696/10698/10715 and a base plate (32×32).

Remember to builder bigger models we need more pieces. 500 assorted LEGO® bricks should help to build multiple models.

Home based material needed – Ruler/Scale, Wool/Thread, Pencil, Sketch Pens, Blank pages for sketching/ Drawing book, Clay (all these are optional and will just help add extra elements in the city)
